Vertical Gravity Studios began with a shared passion for powerful stories and a belief that they could be told in an entirely new way.

Ettore Botta and Brian Young first met while working together on a feature film. They quickly discovered that their experience complemented one another—Brian’s background in writing, directing, and visual storytelling paired with Ettore’s extensive experience in producing, editing, international sales, marketing, and distribution. Together, they saw an opportunity to combine decades of entertainment industry knowledge with the rapidly evolving world of vertical entertainment.

Excited by the possibilities of this emerging format, Ettore and Brian set out to build a new production company from the ground up. Their goal was not simply to reshape traditional movies and television for a phone screen, but to create original stories designed specifically for the way audiences watch today.
